Guest Speaker Summary
Carolyn Robertson gave her induction speech. She was introduced by Debbie Murphy, her mentor.
She is the youngest in a large family of athletes. Her father and brother are both in the sports Hall of Fame.
Carolyn has been in Richmond for 31 years. She started teaching special education in 1980 and has progressed to the position of Dean of the Chip Wilson School of Design at Kwantlen Polytechnic University.
The School of Design has four degree programs. Carolyn is looking to see the programs evolve into more sustainable, ethical and practical design. This would include designing clothing for children and the disabled.
Carolyn was thanked by Georgina.
