Welcome to Walktober!!! Get this kms in!!! A little friendly competition is on! Move as much as you can and see if you can make the top 🥇🥈🥉(Thank you to our wonderful president Debbie for the extra motivation!!!) Keep track of your activities, time and kms to submit to Amanda by Saturday nights in October👍 If you're interested in getting a move on together, join us for walking and coffee, on Sunday mornings in October. That would be the 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th. We will meet at Garry Point Park parking lot at 8:30am to walk/run/cycle. We will meet back at the park for coffee at 9:30am. Stop by your favorite Steveston coffee house on the way or bring your home brew. Don't forget to bring a blanket or chair to the park for after the walk! If you'd like to just come for coffee at 9:30, please do!!! Good luck to all and hope to see you outside!!!

We are doing something different this year!!Our annual Fundraising Event for the Rotary Foundation will be combined with our annual Christmas Party. For the price of $100, you will get a take out dinner for two, a bottle of wine and a donation to the Rotary Foundation. The dinner will be provided by the Ghirra Group. A zoom meeting will start at 7 pm and will allow for some socializing, some Christmas games and Holiday cheer! You can choose to eat your dinner before the zoom meeting starts or wait to eat - and drink - during the festivities! The choice is yours! Here is how it will work:
During these challenging times, we are hoping all Rotarians will join in and make this Foundation Fundraiser a successful one! If you cannot attend, you can always make a donation of $100. |
