Davao (Malikongkong) Water Project

The mountainous region close to Davao City in the Philippines was ravaged by forest fire; this destroyed the water pipeline that served the Malikongkong village. It serviced approx. 1000 families with clean, safe water.
The local Rotary clubs put together a project to replace the pipeline and as our club had visited the area on an exchange project, we were asked to provide some financial assistance.
Richmond Sunrise Rotary is a Silver Sponsor of the pipeline which being rebuilt.
