Richmond Sunrise Rotary Club Bulletin November 19, 2015

CLUB MEETING:
Michael Frost, president of the Arbutus club, told us of a fund raising project they have for ridding El Salvador of toxic waste particularly from the sea. Their fund raiser is a Christmas buffet on December 6 at 5 PM at the Royal Vancouver Yacht Club.  Tickets are $80 each.
Michael also invited us to their meeting on November 27.  Their speaker is Bill Sullivan, lawyer and bioethicist, on the topic of the “right to die”.  Their meeting begins at 12 PM.
Avery is now a member of the club.  We welcome her and look forward to getting to know her.
PDG Gordon conducted the annual general meeting.  The motion to approve revised bylaws was passed.  They essentially eliminate the position of VP which is now President elect and create a new Youth Services directory.
The new board for 2016/2017 was elected.  President Sandra; President elect Heather; Secretary Susan; Treasurer Arnoldo.
Congratulations to all and thank you for your dedication and commitment.
