Back-to-School Event a Big Success
A special thank-you was extended to Melinda and Sandra for providing breakfast—always a welcome change of pace in the morning!
Rotary members also received kudos for their participation in the recent Victor Ghirra Drive Back-to-School event. Thanks to Debbie Sampson, Peggy, Debbie, T. Kal, Margaret and Don for coming out to help.
The event registered approximately 60 children, with attendance reaching around 80. With 11 or 12 community vendors, plenty of activities and a very positive atmosphere, the event was considered a great success. The feedback from families and participants was overwhelmingly positive, and the event is expected to receive coverage in the Richmond News and other local media. More details will be shared in an upcoming bulletin.
