Last weeks meeting
Susan Introduced our speaker, Linda Shirley. She is the CEO and Head of School The Arts Connection. Linda told us how it started and how it evolved to the present. From the WWW, their Vision Statement, "As a community and school, The Arts Connection aims to empower the creative spirit, to inspire a passion for learning, to embolden our students with wider perspectives, and to instill a culture of involved citizenship through empathy".

- Susan showed off (and passed around) a pair of recently purchased size 8 FANCY Western Ladies boots. Possibly to be worn at the upcoming auction by a lady with size 8 feet?
- We (men especially) have been learning lots about the "spa" world. A few weeks ago Paul mentioned that he is working on a "spa" design but knows little about a "spa". Last week Mark came back from Mexico with the information (from an experience) that the cucumber slices are to cover your eyes, not for eating!
- Amanda described an "exit room", ye OLD bulletin editor wondered if it was a place where you go to "check out" - apparently not or Larry would be familiar with such a way out of this world....
- (repeat) Treasurer Kathy is away for 3 weeks, Avery covering during her absence....
