The Ghirra's had us acknowledge the contribution of brother Sanjiv who looks after the menu and supervising the preparation of the dinner. Alot of complements about the food.

Also kudos to the prime rib 50 year celebration.

Blair was giving advice about how married men should behave on a cruise. Kal did not seem to be enthusiastic about it. But Blair should know as he has been married three times.

Monday May 6th was Holocaust Remembrance Day. Yom HaShoah 2024 in Canada (timeanddate.com)

Many people in Canada, including those with Jewish ancestry or connections, observe Yom Hashoah on the 27th day of the month of Nisan. Many Jewish communities hold commemorative ceremonies or events to remember Holocaust victims who died during World War II.
The Masorti (Conservative Judaism) movement in Israel created Megillat HaShoah, a scroll and liturgical reading for Yom HaShoah. This is a joint effort between Jewish leaders in Canada, Israel, and the United States. Synagogue services are held in Canada during Yom Hashoah and rituals may vary. Activities may include lighting memorial candles and reciting the Kaddish, which is a prayer for the departed.
Educational programs about the historical events associated with Yom Hashoah are shown around this time of the year, particularly to students learning about Jewish history. These programs may include a documentary featuring Holocaust survivors’ stories or a viewing of a Holocaust-themed film. Teaching resources and guidelines may accompany some of these programs.

3 politicians are planning a gala

Harry Anand, George Bush, and Arnold Schwarzenegger decide that the gala should be a costumed event, but gave difficulty agreeing on the theme.
Eventually, Harry suggests they go as a figure for their heritage whom they respect and admire.
Arnold thinks this is a great idea, and George similarly enthusiastic.

"I can go as George Washington, he's a true American hero and we share the same name"

Anand thinks for a moment and decides, "I'll go as Ghandi. He had great humility and wisdom"

They both turn to Schwarzenegger and ask who he'll go as.

"Well, I've got a few ideas but I think my best choice is a man of who was brilliant and talented, often not appreciated in his time, but whom ultimately left a great impact in history and culture"

At the blank looks from Anand and Bush, he says:

"Isn't it obvious?"

"I'll be Bach"
