Mary Lou had a great time in Palm Springs with Pat and friends with laughs, bridge and golf under the lights. But with a return to work her outlook is jammed full and good news is Oscar is coming for breakfast.
I was up often through the night with our dog. Sandy and I are celebrating our 45th anniversary by using the two nights at the Parq hotel and dinner this weekend. Also we used the Sandy's furniture $1,000 gift card to buy a kitchen table for our new house.
Chris M. was happy not to have to drive to a meeting this morning. She finally did the wainscoting in the kitchen after 12 years and fixed the broken blinds (?) on the door to the deck so the kitchen looks great.
Susan had an up and down week with an uncle passing away so spending time with her mom but she is otherwise well.
Garth was away in January and played 9 holes of golf Saturday and 18 Sunday and his kids were finally able to come and visit. This all while being in the middle of a 20 day trial.
Jeanette coincidently ran into Dalbir while she was out and reports that Peachy has been injured and has a cast on her ankle.
Pat is also back from Palm Springs where she had a wonderful time including a gondola ride up a nearby mountain.
Marg attended the meeting on both her computer and iPhone which entitled her to a make up. Sadly she had a close friend pass away suddenly. Saw a winning Canucks game and enjoyed the play "The Cull." Reminded her of our Rotary meetings where someone just about always says something inappropriate.
Chris B. lamented the one year of war in the Ukraine. She is going to the International Women's event and is hosting her grand kids for 12 days. Off to the cinema for the first time in a while and saw Puss N Boots. The pop corn was more expensive then the tickets for the show.
Debbie S. regrets leaving Palm Springs given the weather here. The wind in Tsawwassen kept her dog awake through the night too. On her flight back a return flight to Calgary was leaving from the gate next to the flight returning to Vancouver. The gates were switched at the last moment and one passenger managed to get on the wrong flight. How is that possible these days. Was lucky on her return flight home because a friends flight was cancelled.
Bobby volunteered late into the night over the weekend by getting the clubs invoices out to all of us. Thankyou Bobby - being treasurer is a big job.
Sandra is ready for spring but in spite of the freezing weather walked 8k on the seawall around False Creek. Saw icicles hanging from one building. BRRRRR

Peter is replacing the floors in the whole house with hardwood which has disrupted their lives. The floor layers charged extra for moving the piano. He also spent two days assembling an undisclosed Ikea purchase.
