 - Avery noted that she had arrived early enough to properly greet her fellow Rotarians (a rarity she said)

Windows of Hope 2018: our club has registered a team for this event.

When: Wednesday, November 21st, 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Where: Richmond Auto Mall
What: Transforming a holiday display window

The group organizing the event suggested that our team consist of approximately 8-10 people. So far, we have 4 people signed up: Bill, Kal, Peter, and Sam. Please send me an email at samjaffe@hotmail.com, or send me a text at 778-798-5212, if you'd like to be part of the team this year.

Today's chuckle(s)

 - I have a very good feeling about my job interview today. The manager said they were looking for somebody responsible.
“You’ve found your man,” I responded, “whenever there was a problem in my last job, they always said that I was responsible!”

 - Police officer talks to a driver: Your tail light is broken, your tires must be exchanged and your bumper hangs halfway down. That will be 300 dollars.
Driver: Alright, go ahead. They want twice as much as that at the garage.
