Mary Lou is going on a road trip which includes a stay at the Skagit Motor Inn in Hope. She will then be gone for two weeks with a camping trip through Port Hardy and Bella Coola ending at the cabin. Oscar at 8 this AM.
Sandra got to see her grandson without the tube as he pulled it out. Things are getting better as he is throwing up less.
Dalbir is finding it hard to get accommodation in Penticton as he is taking Grandson home this weekend.
Nikki is on her way back to Mexico this Monday and has been enjoying the cooler weather. Has registered for the Rotary International Conference in Calgary.
Chris P. is also registered for Calgary. Will be spending fathers day with her Dad as he is receiving blood transfusions for leukemia. He feels great after the transfusion.
Marg can sleep now as tennis is on pause which gives her more energy to make jam as it tis the season. falalala - lalala.
Judy enjoyed two birthday dinners out noisy but fun. Will have 18 for fathers day and will be serving rice crispee squares. Yummy!

Bill's hockey team went 8-O in Div. 2 and played a Div 1 team in the playoffs and lost only 3-1 which included a power play and empty net goals. Promoted to Div 1 next year? Shelly made reservations at a fancy restaurant for their anniversary but went on the wrong day so were the best dressed couple at the Burger Shack.
Sams sickness is gone. He practiced the recipe for the community breakfast for Bob's last day but it did not go well. Only two weeks left for perfection Sam!
Moe enjoyed the presentation today and really appreciates seeing the Rotary Scholarships awarded. (potential new member - keep him away from naughty table and near Jeanette.)

Elena advised there is a container being loaded for the Ukraine this weekend. She participated in the walkathon for seniors and is also registered for the Calgary convention.
Jeanette reported that this was Moe's second meeting. She is finally getting her doggy today and it is having trouble getting used to other dogs. She felt like a VIP awarding the Rotary Scholarship.
Danny jogged around Stanley Park with his daughter for fathers day. They also went to fly over Canada and the Italian Festival. He is off to the Canadian Photographers Conference where he will take a course in how to judge photos. Very appropriate.
Debbie T. said that Drew is slowly recovering from liver sludge. She attended the indigenous graduation ceremony which was very interesting and included the grads making their own cedar graduation hats. Suggested we should have a Rotary Scholarship awarded at this ceremony and we should.
Debbie S. daughter is the ringer on her Whistler softball team by far as the only Canadian on the team. Off to the Island to spend fathers day with sisters and at the Dairy Queen. I say get a large blizzard. Speaking of painters John was surprised one day to arrive to an envelope attached to his boat that turned out to be a painting of it.
Blair will be celebrating his first fathers day without his father in a zoom get together with his brothers.
Gordon laments that there is always a big thing for mothers day but not so much for fathers. He quickly moved on to say he was enjoying the weather and wished everyone a happy everyday.

Pat's granddaughter now has her learners licence and drove to the restaurant. Pat felt like a real VIP awarding both a Rotary and Women's University Club scholarship.
Yours truly had his gall bladder removed after the physicians had first focussed on my heart, not surprisingly. Had the gallbladder out with laparoscopic surgery Friday, they left the heart in, home Saturday and slowly recovering. Total coincidence is the same ER Dr. who saw me the night of my heart attack saw me at RGH for my gall bladder attack
Bobby enjoyed presenting the Rotary Scholarship at McNair where his kids went to school. Disappointed that one person received many scholarships including ours. Blames Dalbir for his career as an accountant. Could have been in a boys band. Visiting daughter in Toronto next week.
Peter's Grandson and Granddaughter have both made the premier teams in soccer with fusion soccer. Practice almost every day. Grandson is recovering from a ham string injury on a otherwise permanently stationary bike. Peter enjoyed his golfing in the Okanagan with 6 of original 16 golfers.
