Mary Lou in last bulletin - "My apologies if there is any fake news in this week's bulletin. The notes I made on Thursday managed to fly out of my purse when we were driving in the Kootenays and is on the road somewhere between Kaslo and Nelson. I had to rely on my memory."

Committee Updates

From Debbie S

Well, it was an exciting morning at the Richmond Sunrise Rotary Club.
President Sam drew the names that sent 9 people home empty-handed, and 3 people home with an abundance of vino!
The winners are …..
  • 3rd Place - Brian Cole (Rotarian Extraordinaire)
  • 2nd Place - Christy Hermans (Friend of Rotary)
  • 1st Place - Nick Samsom (My dad - big supporter of Rotary)
Thank you, everyone, for participating!  Your generosity is greatly appreciated. Together, we raised $2,000 for the Rotary Foundation.
You are all winners in my books  (sorry I can't give everyone wine :)

'Til next year,
Debbie

Today's Chuckle(s)

   - A sandwich walks into a bar. The barman says ''Sorry we don't serve food in here''

   - The other day I sent my girlfriend a huge pile of snow. I rang her up, I said ''Did you get my drift?''.
