Last weeks meeting
Carolyn introduced our speaker Elena (and Joyce and Kathy and Danny)... She thanked Elena for all the time and effort in organizing the friendship exchange. Elena gave an enthusiastic summary of the trip planning and some of the details of their time in the philippines. Joyce, Kathy and Danny then added trip highlights from their perspective. An amazing Rotary adventure!!
Brian thanked them for their presentations.

Meanderings
- Did you know? The tomato is the world’s most popular fruit. And yes, botanically speaking it is a fruit, not a vegetable. More than 60 million tons of tomatoes are produced per year, 16 million tons more than the second most popular fruit, the banana. Apples are the third most popular (36 million tons), then oranges (34 million tons) and watermelons (22 million tons).
