Peachy is walking a lot more.
Pat had Tea and Crumpets – another well-known Richmond tradition!
Jeanette picked up her son at the airport – so felt she was back to a full family again.
Susan has had a good week, she says! She refuses to be at all negative about anything. That’s what we like to hear!
Micheal has had a busy week, but was sad that Indian visas were in flux, so his trip back home next month may be in limbo. Kal has similar problems, and so does Bob S. Getting compensation can be extremely frustrating, so the moral is Get Cancellation Insurance!! I used to really enjoy planning and taking flights. Now not so much!
Elena is as busy as ever with events
Kal’s driving now but has to roll one leg of his pants up while in the driver’s seat, to the puzzlement of his passengers. Don’t they know this is a Canadian custom?
Debbie M. was having so much fun dancing that she ended up with suspected COVID. She’s clear, however, so off to paddle next weekend.
Judy attended a fund raiser for Search & Rescue which was a great evening among the nets and barnacles.
Peter’s back from Sorrento (isn’t there a song about that??) Fires were devastating in the area and had been moving at up to 20k in a day. Many residents were not insured. However, a 5lb 8 oz trout he caught in a local Lake was the biggest Peter had ever caught! Some consolation, I guess. Kids are really upping the COVID numbers, now that schools are back.
Garth was MRI’d.
Melinda had a fab time with John in N.Y. The city never sleeps, and it seemed neither did they. Happy to be home for a few hours of zzzzz’s.
Debbie S. brought her succulents for us to purchase in aid of those affected by the fires.
Amanda went “abreast in a boat” – great fun, even in the pouring rain.
Bobby is off to Whistler.
President Bob was moved by meditation! He expressed thanks to Sam for arranging the scone extravaganza. The finished products were retrieved from the oven and distributed to the pastry chefs. Several full Doggie Bags were then seen escaping from the meeting as the bell tolled.
