It is an honour and privilege to be the President of The Richmond Sunrise Rotary Club. Our motto is “Service above self” which we strive to fulfill in our daily lives. 
Our club raises funds from various sources.  The main source is our Spring Gala and Auction held each year in early May. We attract nearly 400 friends, family and loyal supporters. Each of our 37 members donates 6 or more items to our silent and live auctions. The funds are used to support many projects including local and international. Some include a monthly breakfast at a Richmond elementary school, the Richmond Food Bank and mental health support for first responders, to name a few. Internationally we have supported container shipments of medical supplies to Ukraine, dental missions to impoverished people in the Philippines and water treatment in Mexico.   
Our club is 37 members out of 1.3 million world wide. One of the major projects is to eradicate polio in the World - almost done.  
We meet weekly at 7a.m. and enjoy interesting speakers and fellowship. We are not just club members but an extension of our family.
